Helpful Tip

Read all warnings and cautions before opening.  Care should be taken on wood surfaces as water can raise grain. If applied on a metal surface be sure to remove all paint stripper residue. Paint stripper residue left on metal surface over time may cause corrosion. Do not use on rubber, asphalt, linoleum, tile, plastic, fiberglass, gel coat or other synthetic materials. Always test on inconspicuous area for compatibility before using.

Jasco® Green™  Strip Remover (Discontinued)

A fast-acting, non-toxic gel remover formulated for removing paint, varnish, and epoxy paints from wood, metal, and masonry surfaces. Use Green Strip for complete removal of coatings on flat, vertical or carved surfaces.

 

1. Read all warnings and cautions before opening. Hand and eye protection recommended for use with Green Strip.
2. Pour some remover into a wide-mouthed jar or paint tray.
3. With old or inexpensive brush, flow on a generous portion on the painted surface for removal. Always test on inconspicuous area for compatibility before using on entire or large surface area.
4. Allow Green Strip to set 45 to 90 minutes or until surface is blistered or lifting. When removing stains you may not see blistering or lifting.
5. Remove finish with stripping tool, steel wool, wire brush or cloth. Use water to rinse remaining paint stripper and paint residue.* When removing stains you may not see blistering or lifting, just simply remove with cloth or #2 grade steel wool and water rinse. Masonry or porous surfaces may require pressure washing to eliminate paint stripper residue. Please allow 3 to 5 days dry time before you repaint masonry or porous surfaces after pressure washing.
6. Apply additional coats of Green Strip if necessary until you reach original surface.
7. Rub clean, let dry thoroughly, and apply new finish.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry location away from children.
